There has been a long-standing protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh. Here, protest against CAA is being done in a very peaceful manner. It is special that during the protests many examples of brotherhood are also being seen. A similar example was seen in the festival of Lohri. Bollywood director Onir has posted a video of Lohri in which people are seen celebrating Lohri. Onir has told this video of Shaheen Bagh and expressed happiness over how we are getting back the same thing that we were leaving behind, that is, mutual brotherhood.
Lohri at #shaheenBagh Sometimes I think this crisis is bringing back what was getting lost in the discourse of “us” and “them” . We are celebrating WE . Really hope our places of worship also open up their doors and remove barriers of Religion Gender and caste . pic.twitter.com/LPcBCP3vBK

While sharing this video of Lohri celebrations in Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh, Bollywood director Onir wrote, ‘Lohri in Shaheen Bagh. Many times I feel that this crisis is leading us to the lost things which we had forgotten in the circle of ‘I’ and ‘You’. I mean We are celebrating solidarity here. I hope that our places of worship will also open their doors for them and break the shackles of caste, religion, and gender. ‘ In this way, Onir has seen a ray of hope from this video of Shaheen Bagh.
Explain that there are protests across the country against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) of the government. There was a clash between the students of Jamia University in Delhi and the police. Since then, there have been continuous demonstrations under the leadership of women in Shaheen Bagh. Protesters are hanging out in Shaheen Bagh, carrying out protests in a peaceful manner. Despite the bitter cold, these people are continuously opposing the CAA.
