Ritu Nanda, daughter of Raj Kapoor and daughter-in-law of Shweta Bachchan, died at the age of 71.
Ritu Nanda, the mother-in-law of Shweta Bachchan, died at the age of 71. Ritu Nanda was suffering from cancer and died in Delhi this morning. Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Sahni Kapoor have given this information through their social media handle. Ritu Nanda’s last rites will be performed at the crematorium on Lodhi Road at around 1:30 pm in Delhi. Information about Ritu Nanda’s death was shared by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on his blog. He wrote, “My Samadhan, Ritu Nanda, Shweta’s mother-in-law passed away at 1:15 am today.”
Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Sahni Kapoor also shared a post on Instagram about the death of Ritu Nanda, in which she also shared a photo of her aunt. Wriddhima Kapoor wrote, “The most compassionate person I have met so far. He does not make anyone like you now. May your soul rest in peace.”

She also received the Brand and Best Insurance Advisor of the Decade Award from Life Insurance Corporation of India.
