A decision in HRD and UGC meeting, DU open book exam after 15 August
JEE Main and NEET Result will be open for all university admission windows
Results likely to be released in universities by November
The academic session in universities and colleges will start from November 2020-21. A meeting was held on Tuesday evening under the chairmanship of HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank along with other officials including the ministry, UGC. In this meeting, it has been decided that till the release of the results of the JEE Main and NEET 2020 examination, all the universities of the country including Delhi University will have to keep their admission window open so that no student is denied admission in higher education.
Due to the revised guidelines under the UGC commission meeting, now the open book exam at Delhi University will be after August 15. The DU administration has been asked to postpone the exam a month starting from July 10.
According to sources, the Union Minister took a detailed report from the UGC and Delhi University Administration on the problems of the students in the DU Open Book Exam. Under this, the Union Minister has directed the UGC and Delhi University Administration to conduct the examination after 15 August.
Check your preparation for an open book exam in a month to see if it is possible. Apart from this, students will also get a chance to prepare for the exam. Students who do not have the means to take this online exam, also make their preparation.
However, after 15 August, when DU administration will release the schedule based on its preparation on the open book exam, before that, a report has to be given to the ministry. It has to be told that students will not face any kind of problem with this.
Results by October or November:
Results will be released by October or November, depending on the final year examination conducted by the universities by September 30. In this way, the 2020 session in universities and colleges will be started only by November.
