The MG Hector Plus SUV has been launched in four variant levels. The 6-seat SUV comes in both petrol and diesel engine options. It will compete in the market with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV500, Tata’s upcoming Gravitas, and Hyundai’s upcoming 7-seater Creta. It can also compete with the Toyota Innova due to features like Captain Seats.
MG Motor India launched its 6-seater SUV Hector Plus. Hector Plus has been launched in four variant levels (Style, Super, Smart, and Sharp). The starting price of MG Hector Plus is Rs 13.49 lakh. This new SUV is basically a 6-seater model of the 5-seat Hector SUV. Some cosmetic changes have been made to Hector Plus, which makes it look different from Hector’s. It also has 6-seats in three lines.
MG Hector Plus features a separate chrome front grille, new LED DRL (day-time running lights), new LED headlamps, redesigned rear tail lamps, floating signal turn indicators, shark fin antenna, new front, and rear bumpers, bold looks Skid plates and dual-tone machined alloy wheels are provided.
Hector Plus has 6-seats in three lines, with the second line having 2 Captain seats. Slide and recline functions are available with Captain Seats. The SUV features smoked sepia leather seats, leather finish steering wheels, front and rear reading lights, 8-color ambient lighting, and a 7-inch multi-information display.
The three engine options of
Hector Plus are sourced from the 5-seat Hector SUV. These include 1.5-liter petrol, 1.5-liter petrol hybrid, and 2-liter diesel engines. Both petrol engines generate 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The diesel engine generates 170 PS of power and 350Nm of torque. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard with all three engines. Apart from this, there is also the option of a dual-clutch automatic gearbox with a hybrid petrol engine.
Hector Plus include 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, 4-way power-adjustable co-driver seat, powered tailgate opening, smart swipe auto tailgate opening, heated outside rearview mirrors, dual-pan panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, Features a 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system and Infinity Premium sound system with auto headlamps, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Hector Plus also features MG Motor’s i-smart connected car technology, which offers more than 55 features.

The company has said that this is the special introductory price, which is till August 13. After August 13, its price will be increased to 50 thousand rupees.
