
Production will be directed by filmmaker Seth McFarlane creator of the drawing ‘Family Guy’ and director of the comedy ‘Ted’
Actor Liam Neeson is negotiating to star in the remake of the humor classic ‘Run the Police Here’ (1988), starring Leslie Nielsen (1926-2010). The information was revealed by the 68-year-old North Irish star in an interview with People magazine.
“I was approached by Seth McFarlane and Paramount Studios to perhaps revive the ‘Run the Police Here’ franchise,” said Neeson when asked about his upcoming projects.

“It could end my career or take it in another direction. I honestly don’t know ”, thought the actor amid laughter.

Linked to the remake of the franchise starring Nielsen, McFarlane is the creator of the animated series ‘Family Guy’ and ‘American Dad!’ and director of the two films starring the teddy bear Ted, ‘Ted’ (2012) and ‘Ted 2’ (2015).
The first ‘Run the Police Come Here’ was followed by ‘Run the Police Come Here 2 ½’ (1991) and ‘Run the Police Come Here 33 ⅓ The Final Insult’ (1994). Watch the trailer of the first film in the trilogy with Leslie Nielsen below:
