‘He will be here next season’, says United manager of Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United’s 3-0 victory over Brentford, last Monday (2), at Old Trafford, had a farewell atmosphere for Juan Mata and Matic, who played their last game with the club’s shirt. However, according to coach Ralf Rangnick, the goodbyes stop there. The coach recalled that Cristiano Ronaldo still has one more year on his contract with the Red Devils and should stay next season.

I don’t know why it would be a farewell mood. He has another year on his contract and as far as I know he will be here next season again.”

Rumors in the European press say that CR7 has an indefinite future at the English club, despite still having a year on his contract in England. Some media report that the Portuguese ace has a chance of returning to Real Madrid, while others speculate a possible move to Sporting and even PSG.

After the victory, United released a video of the players’ celebration on the field where CR7 appears saying that “it’s not over”. The striker was responsible for conceding two penalties (he converted one) and scoring two goals, but one was disallowed by VAR.

“If I were Cristiano’s manager, I would call PSG”, says Fred Caldeira
