Another controversy! Jobson is referred to the police station on suspicion of drug trafficking | football

Striker Jobson was taken to the Angra dos Reis police station, in Rio de Janeiro, on suspicion of involvement in drug trafficking. The case took place this Thursday, the 5th, in the region of Japuiba, during an action by the Military Police, which was investigating a complaint.

The PM was searching a house and found 16 bundles of marijuana and 12 pins containing white powder. Jobson’s connection to the investigation came through an exchange of messages with one of the men who were in the property.

Upon arriving in the region, the player was approached by the police and sent to the 166th DP, but was released. He didn’t have any weapons or drugs, as the PM suspected. Two other people were arrested in the police operation.

Jobson started his career at Brasiliense in 2009. After joining the DF club, the striker went through Botafogo, Atlético-MG, Bahia, Grêmio Barueri, São Caetano and Al-Ittihad, from Saudi Arabia. During this period, the player collected problems due to drug use.

Suspended since 2015 by FIFA from carrying out any activity related to football until March 31, 2018, Jobson was accused by the Saudi club of refusing to take a drug test. Subsequently, FIFA gave worldwide validity to the penalty that was initially imposed by the Saudi Football Federation.

During the suspension period, the attacker’s name was involved in a case of rape of vulnerable people. Since then, Jobson has been arrested three times. In June 2016, taken in compliance with a preventive arrest warrant decreed by the Justice of Conceição do Araguaia, in the interior of Pará. The case began to be investigated when one of the teenagers, who says she was abused by the player, sought out the police after a photo of her ended up in an internet message exchange group. Jobson denied all the allegations.

In June 2017, he was arrested again after being involved in a traffic accident that caused the death of a man. At that time, he was on parole and returned to jail for having left the county without authorization. After more than two months, he posted bail and was released.

He was arrested again on September 29 of the same year. This time, according to the Court of Justice, he left the established limit again, traveling to Pará. The information reached the court because he was wearing an electronic anklet.

In 2019, he agreed to return to Brasiliense, but ended up away from the club due to internal problems. The following year he returned to Rio de Janeiro, where he tried to continue in the state where he gained prominence wearing the Botafogo shirt, only this time in Portuguesa.

However, the passage through Lusa was short-lived. The attacker would have been dissatisfied for not being acting. There, he played just 45 minutes. The main signing of the team for the season, Jobson only played in the second half of the match with Macaé, for the State Selective. He hadn’t been related to the games.

Outside Lusa, he was hired by Independente-PA. It was just two matches, about two weeks at the club until he was dismissed for indiscipline after a video went viral showing him drinking at a karaoke in the city of Tucuruí, in the interior of Pará.

The board did not accept Jobson’s only mistake at the club, as his attitude was right after a match for the Campeonato Paraense in which the team was defeated, where he missed a penalty and was expelled.

The 2022 season got off to a rocky start for the striker. He had an agreement to defend Itupiranga in the Campeonato Paraense, but ended up agreeing with Sete de Setembro, from Pernambuco. He didn’t stay 10 days in the team, with an alleged proposal from Paraguayan football.

On January 13, Jobson released a video saying he would play for União Cacoalense, from Rondônia, where he had already spent in 2021. However, seven days later, it was announced at Sport Lagoa Seca for the Paraibano Championship. He played five games and didn’t score any goals.

In the second half of last year, the striker was highlighted by Capixaba in the Espírito Santo Cup, where he was top scorer with seven goals and elected the star of the competition.
