Fenabrave’s positive balance

Despite the fall, the president of Fenabrave, Andreata Junior, was optimistic due to the negative context of the world, which is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine.

“Ukraine, which is at war with Russia, is an important supplier of inputs to the semiconductor industry, which exacerbates the global supply crisis,” he told the organisation’s official website.

“In addition, there are problems with fuel prices all over the world. Within this scenario, we optimistically see signs of improvement in the Sector”, highlighted the president of Fenabrave.

Also according to the manager, the fall has been smaller and that means that the market will have to react.

“Although we are still in retraction, in the year, we noticed that, at the end of the first two months of 2022, the volume was about 13% lower compared to the same period in 2021. Now, the retraction has dropped to just over 7 %, which signals a recovery movement”, he said.

This Wednesday (4), Volkswagen in São Bernardo do Campo announced that it will stop production momentarily, precisely because of the lack of semiconductors. Below, watch a video from the ‘Latest News’ channel.
