‘The Umbrella Academy’: Justin Cornwell appears as Marcus Hargreeves in new season 3 poster; Check out!

THE Netflix released new individual posters for season 3 of ‘The Umbrella Academy‘, this time highlighting Justin Cornwell as Marcus Hargreeves, Luther’s counterpart (Tom Hopper) at Sparrow Academy.

Luther is described as “a charming, chiseled colossus. Honest, virtuous and demanding, Marcus keeps the family together. Graceful yet lethal, calculating yet compassionate, he is as smart as he is strong. Marcus is disciplined, rational, and in control. He exudes confidence and leadership without ever having to raise his voice.”

Check it out, along with the posters and descriptions of the other characters:

Justin H.Min is Ben Hargreeves, Diego’s counterpart (David Castaneda) at Sparrow Academy.

Although Ben was pronounced dead before the events of Season 1 began, his ghost stayed close by to communicate with Klaus.

Until his spirit seemed to have been defeated at the end of Season 2, but the gang found a very living incarnation of their brother when they traveled to an alternate reality.

This version of Ben is described as “a Machiavellian strategist, encased in a pretty boy body with a resounding inner squid. Addicted, objective and hyper-vigilant, Ben is determined to earn his leader status at all costs.”

Britne Oldford is Fei Hargreeves, Allison’s counterpart (Emmy Raver-Lampman) at Sparrow Academy.

“As a misanthrope who would rather be alone than spend a second with other people, Fei sees the world in a special way. But truth be told, she would like to have friends. Most of the time, Fei is the smartest person in the room and willing to work things out. But if you become her target, there is no escape, because Fei will not stop until the job is done.”

Jake Epstein is Alphonso Hargreeves, Klaus’ counterpart (Robert Sheehan) at Sparrow Academy.

“Years of fighting crime have left his face and body with countless visual memories of his battles. To compensate, Alphonso arms himself with a caustic and biting sense of humor. The only thing he likes better than arguing with someone foolish enough to make fun of him is a good pizza and a crate of beers.”

Genesis Rodriguez is Sloane Hargreeves, No. 5’s counterpart (Aidan Gallagher).

We still don’t know much about Sloane’s abilities, but if she has half the powers of #5, the dysfunctional superhero family will have a big addition.

Sloane is described as “a romantic and dreamer who feels a higher cosmic calling, leaving her eager to see the world and experience a life beyond her creation. But her family obligations keep Sloane tied to the Academy, but she has plans… and one day she might be brave enough to put them into action.”

Cazzie David is Jayme Hargreeves, whose counterpart was “removed from the timeline”, but if his designation is number 6, then it stands to reason that the late Ben Hargreeves (Justin H.Min) is its equivalent in alternate reality.

Newcomer Jayme is described as “a loner hiding under a hood”. She doesn’t talk much because she doesn’t have to. Take a look and you’ll run across the street to avoid what’s to come. Smart and sharp as a knife, she spends most of her time with Alphonso, her only friend.

In a recent interview with colliderthe actor Tom Hopperwho plays Luther Hargreeves on the series, raised our expectations for the next cycle by praising the storytelling that awaits fans:

“The scripts are great, it’s fun to do Season 3. I feel very privileged to be a part of this show. And I think the best thing is that we’re pretty comfortable with each other now. So it feels like we’ve really found the right territory, plus we have the same team. And I think we know now who these characters are and who we’re playing, and I think when we work with each other, we’re aware of how to react in scenes.”

Created by Jeremy Slater (‘The Exorcist‘), the series is based on the comics created by Gerard Way and by the Brazilian Gabriel Bá.

The story follows a dysfunctional family of superheroes who come together to solve the mystery of their father’s death, an apocalypse threat and more.
