This Saturday, Corinthians performed its last activity before facing Red Bull Bragantino, next Sunday, for the Brazilian Championship. The match takes place at 18:00 at Estádio Nabi Abi Chedid, in Bragança Paulista, and is valid for the fifth round of the Brazilian Championship.
The activity began with a warm-up of the athletes in one of the fields of CT Joaquim Grava. Afterwards, the group started to work on possession of the ball in a reduced space led by Vítor Pereira.
In the final part, players practiced set pieces in attack and defense situations. At the end of training, some athletes remained on the pitch for complementary finishing work and defensive headers.
In training this Saturday, Vítor Pereira cannot count on striker Jô, with pain in his left knee. He joins the side Fagner as an absence in the list of related for the duel – see full here.
The coach Vítor Pereira, therefore, will have to make some changes in relation to the team that started the duel against Deportivo Cali, last Wednesday. Taking into account the embezzlement, and the traditional rotation implemented by the Portuguese, Timão can go to the field with Cassius; Rafael Ramos, João Victor, Gil and Lucas Piton; Cantillo (Maycon), Du Queiroz and Renato Augusto; Willian, Junior Moraes and Róger Guedes.
Corinthians and Red Bull Bragantino face off in a direct dispute for the leadership of the Brazilian Championship. Leader, and with nine points conquered, Timão leads the competition followed by the team from Bragança Paulista, in third place, with one point less.
