Minas, with a mixed team, wins easily in Sula’s debut – Web Vôlei

Itambé/Minas fulfilled its obligation in the opening of the South American Women’s Volleyball Championship. At Arena Dentil, in Uberlândia, victory over the Chileans of Boston College by 3 sets to 0, partial 25-13, 25-12 and 25-18.

Aware of the opponent’s fragility, coach Nicola Negro left part of the starting lineup on the bench in the first match after winning the 1XBET Superliga. The central Thaisa and Carol Gattaz and the tip Neri Ozsoy were spared. Chance for Pri Souza, Júlia Kudiess and Rebecca.

Who also made her debut was the opposite Sabrina, hired only for the South American. She entered the 5-1 inversions with Pri Heldes in the first sets and started in the third. Another to have the opportunity was reserve libero Julia Moreira.

After a hit in the first set, the second started a little more evenly. Boston College, a semi-amateur team, even managed to balance the ball turn. But the innocence in some fundamentals was becoming increasingly clear, as in a long sequence of Pri Daroit on the serve, doing enormous damage to the pass line. In the third, the Chileans took advantage of Minas mistakes and got to open 4 to 1. But the match soon returned to normal pace to close without more scares by 3 sets to 0.

Pri Daroit scored 15 points, with a 71% success rate in the attack. Sabrina came next, with 14.

The victory already guarantees Minas in the semi, making this Saturday’s match against Sesi Bauru, at 21h, in the definition of the first position. In theory, whoever leads this group will be free to face Dentil/Praia Clube, favorite of the other group, in the semifinals.

It is worth remembering that the broadcasts of the group stage take place on YouTube of the South American Confederation. The semifinals and medal disputes will be shown by Sportv.
