Who cares about scale, weight or belt? Charles from the Bronx put all of the weekend’s controversies aside when he stepped into the Octagon to face Justin Gaethje. The Brazilian gave a jiu-jitsu lesson, submitted his opponent in the first round and made it clear that he remains the absolute champion of the division, whether with a belt or not. Dana White will have to find a way to solve this “problem”, as Charles of the Bronx himself defined it. Watch the fight in full!

The Bronx class was one of the highlights of UFC 274. Before that, a knockout lifted the crowd: a spectacular kick from Michael Chandler had Tony Ferguson’s face twisting. No wonder Chandler took the performance of the night award, alongside Brazilian André Fialho.

Between Chandler’s knockout and Charles do Bronx’s brilliance, however, there were moments that challenged the sleep of those who stayed overnight to follow the UFC. The duel between Carla Esparza and Rose Namajunas was sleepy, emotionless and tested the endurance of the most sleepless MMA fan. In the end, Esparza won by split decision: not even the judges could agree on who should win the fight.
