She would have to do it.” she assured her.

Colin Firth, who played Harry in the first two films, would also like a third film, and said in a recent conversation with “Good Morning America”:

“If you can do a second, I think you can do a third, a fourth and a fifth. It used to be a miracle. I would do it just to see my friends again on some beautiful island.”

Released in 2006, “The Devil Wears Prada” has become a movie classic, telling the story of journalist Andrea (Anne Hathaway), who tries to jumpstart her career working for the feared Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) at a renowned fashion magazine.

Now, the cast has met again in a special interview for a report on the Entertainment Weekly. Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Stanley Tucci and Adrian Grenier commented on the shooting of the film which was a worldwide success.

On the other hand, Hathaway revealed that she was always eager to win the role:

The cast even talked about a possible continuation of the film, revealing that even with the second book in the story already published by the author who created the work that inspired the feature, and even with concrete conversations about the project, everyone feels that the plot of “The Devil Wears Prada” has already closed.

“The studio didn’t ask for a sequel. We had meetings where we thought, ‘What would we do with a sequel?’ We feel that the story has been told. Lauren even wrote another book 15 years later, but we came to the same conclusion. Just following the characters wouldn’t be the same.”

“We had a lot of conversations about it. I wouldn’t rule out that possibility,” added Lauren Weisberger, author of the original work.
