FashionTV – Documentary created by Paulo Borges shows routine of Gisele Bündchen and other Top Models

Have you ever thought about every challenge that a Top Model went through until she reached the big catwalks, parading for renowned brands? This is exactly what the documentary “Top Models: A Brazilian Fairy Tale” will show the public. The project, conceived by Paulo Borges, was directed by Richard Luiz and premiered on Tuesday, May 17, on FashionTV.

With a routine full of obstacles and achievements, the project will tell the exciting stories of Gisele Bündchen, Isabelli Fontana, Fernanda Tavares and 21 other of the country’s biggest stars on the international catwalks. The film will be narrated by Alice Braga and will address the trajectories, challenges, overcoming and achievements of each model.

“Top Models: A Brazilian Fairy Tale is a historical documentary that records the strength of Brazilian models on national and international catwalks at the turn of the millennium. The world has never seen a casting of supermodels who dictated the fashion image of a time, with their ‘Brazilian bombshells’ style. The most renowned stylists, journalists and agents tell the importance of this vintage, through many archive images”, says director Richard Luiz.

The documentary was conceived during the 10th anniversary of São Paulo Fashion Week, in 2005, another fashion project also created by Paulo Borges. It will be 90 minutes of lots of content, in which the models will report the long path between their dream, the beginning of their career, the arrival on the SPFW catwalks and international acclaim.
