Amazon Prime will broadcast five Copa do Brasil games this week

The week in Brazilian football will be full of decisive clashes for the Copa do Brasil. Amazon Prime Video, the online streaming service, will stream five of this week’s games exclusively. To watch the games, it is necessary to access the platform’s website and find out about membership procedures.

Tuesday:

20:30: Azuriz x Bahia (first leg 0-0)

Wednesday:

19:30: Flamengo x Altos (2-1 first leg for Flamengo)

Thursday:

19:30: Cruise x Remo (2-1 first leg for Remo)

19:30: São Paulo vs Juventude (first leg 2-2)

21:30: Santos x Coritiba (1-0 first leg for Coritiba)

The Copa do Brasil no longer has the away goal as a tiebreaker in the qualifiers. Therefore, if there is a tie after the two clashes, the spot in the 4th stage will be decided on penalties.

The current champion of the Copa do Brasil is Atlético-MG. Galo won the title after defeating Athletico Paranaense in the grand final of the competition.

In the current edition, it is noteworthy that several traditional clubs have already left the competition. This is the case of Grêmio, Internacional, Sport Recife, among others. Others, such as Juazeirense and Azuriz, who currently compete in the Brasileirão Série D.
