Everything is ready for Bahia to take the field this Tuesday (10) to decide their future in the Copa do Brasil. The preparation to face Azuriz was finished this Monday (09).
As scheduled, the tricolor cast sailed to the south of the country on Sunday and performed its last activity during the rainy morning in Chapecó, using Chapecoense’s CT.
With the ball rolling on the lawn, coach Guto Ferreira applied a tactical training to define the lineup that will go to the field in southwest Paraná. The athletes also practiced penalties.
The change already defined is the entry of Vitor Jacaré in place of Raí, who cannot play the Copa do Brasil for Bahia, having already defended another club in the tournament. Emerson Santos and Didi are also absent for the same reason.
Despite understanding that there is a need to rest players, Guto sees a squad without great confidence options for such an important match. With this, the trend is for continuity of the base of the starting lineup.
A probable Bahia has: Danilo Fernandes; Borel, Ignacio, Luiz Otávio and Luiz Henrique; Patrick, Rezende and Daniel; Vitor Jacaré, Davó and Marco Antônio.
If Guto promotes changes, these will only be known one hour before the ball rolls.
The cast will travel to Pato Branco, Paraná, on Monday afternoon. The 137km route will be done by bus.
Azuriz and Bahia will face each other at 8:30 pm this Tuesday (10), at the Os Pioneiros stadium. Tricolor needs to win to guarantee classification in regulation time.
