The Uruguayan’s recovery began with the team’s representation at the Football Academy. The injury is not serious.

With the minimum return period set for two weeks, Piquerez should miss four games for Palmeiras: Juazeirense, for the Copa do Brasil, Red Bull Bragantino, for the Brazilian, Emelec, for the Libertadores, and Juventude, also for the Brasileirão.

Depending on the athlete’s evolution, he can start physical reconditioning still in the middle of the treatment, which would allow a faster turn. Palmeiras closes the month of May against Deportivo Táchira, in the continental tournament, and Santos, in Nacional.

In this period, Jorge must replace him in the position. The reserve side is not experiencing a good phase and made a mistake in the bid that resulted in a draw against Fluminense. This Monday (9), the player had a private conversation with Abel Ferreira.
