Santos defender Kaiky has special observers during the Espírito Santo Tournament. Scouts from Barcelona, Spain, and Porto, Portugal, are in Cariacica to accompany athletes from the Brazilian under-20 team and closely monitor the defender of Peixe.
The two European giants are known to be interested in Kaiky’s football. Barcelona even have a fixed value and priority to hire the Santos defender. Porto, in recent months, started to accompany the player to try to sign him in the future.
The presence of scouts in friendly tournaments for teams is common. This time, however, the observers from Barcelona and Porto have, among their objectives, especially to accompany Kaiky, holder and captain of the Brazilian under-20 team.

Constantly called up to defend Brazil, Kaiky is seen by Santos as one of their big bets for the coming years – both football and financially.
At 18, the defender played 37 games for Santos’ professional team in 2021, as the absolute holder of the defense. In 2022, he suffered a broken nose and played 14 matches so far. Now, he is with the Brazilian under-20 team.
Kaiky will be in action again this Friday, against Ecuador, at Kléber Andrade stadium, in Cariacica.
