Who is the child actress who plays Princess Leia in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ – Metro World News Brasil

The series ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘The Book of Boba Fett’ have drawn fans back to the Star Wars franchise in recent years. In continuity, a new era that delves into the vast galaxy is coming with the latest Disney Plus series ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’.

The series premiered its first two episodes on May 27, just two days after the franchise has turned 45 years since ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ was released in theaters.

The plot follows Obi-Wan (Ewan McGregor) as he lives in exile on the planet of Tatooine. The trailers always hinted that he would spend his time protecting a young Skywalker, but the start of the series revealed that it will also focus on Luke’s sister Leia.

In the series, Leia is a little girl of approximately 10 years old, played by Vivien Lyra Blair, best known for playing the girl from ‘Bird Box’, alongside Sandra Bullock. The young actress has already shown what she came for by simply demonstrating her acting skills for the role, portraying Leia in Carrie Fisher’s impeccable style.

Princess Leia is smart and quick, as well as having an enviable wit and energy, as well as being brave and headstrong. These characteristics have made the character very dear to fans since 1977.

Fans didn’t expect Leia’s addition to the story, but they undoubtedly loved it. The vast majority expected Kenobi to remain very attached to Tatooine with its own dramas, but the series is clearly moving into something deeper in the Star Wars saga, forging a backdrop and greater context for several of the franchise’s most popular characters.

New episodes are released every Wednesday, starting with the first two episodes released on May 27. The remaining episodes obey the following dates: June 1st, June 8th, June 15th and June 22nd.
