Billie Eilish performed an unreleased song, called “TV”, during a show of the “Happier Than Ever World Tour” she did in Manchester, England, last Tuesday night (7). The song brings the singer’s comments about some recent political events in the United States.
In addition to criticizing the US Republican party’s attempts to ban abortion, the artist also comments on the public’s obsession with the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial, and how much the court’s live streams would have alienated people.
“We haven’t played a new song live since 2017 or 2018,” said Eilish, before playing the new track, accompanied by brother Finneas, on acoustic guitar. Fans posted videos of the show on social media. Check out:

“The internet has gone crazy watching movie stars on trial / While they’re taking down Roe v. Wade”, referring to the case that recognized the right to abortion or voluntary termination of pregnancy in the USA.
For now, there is no forecast for the official release of “TV”. The song is Eilish’s first new song since the release of her 2021 album “Happier Than Ever”.
