Free on the market, the 35-year-old veteran Jô is in the sights of two clubs in the Brasileirão, after having his contract terminated with Corinthians last week. Corinthians was sought by interested parties to understand the player’s off-field.

In July, a new transfer opportunity within Brazilian football opens up, and Jô may have a new club to play for. UOL Esporte reveals that two Serie A clubs looked for the player, but names, in turn, were not revealed.

To count on Jô, no amount will have to be paid to Corinthians. The striker is also fit to play for any club in the Brasileirão, as he only played 4 games with the São Paulo club’s colors in the competition before leaving Vitor Pereira’s team last week. Salary, however, can be an issue.

In his career, Jô lived a great height for Atlético MG and Corinthians, and added passages through European football, coming to wear the colors of Manchester City. At Galo, 28 goals were scored in 98 games played and, at Timão, 40 in 146 games.

In the Brazilian team, Jô also won opportunities, being champion with the yellow colors of the 2013 Confederations Cup.
