On his Twitter profile, the director James Gunn confirmed that the Bulgarian actress Maria Bakalova is in the cast of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘.
For those who don’t know her, bakalova gained the spotlight in 2020 when he played Tutar Sagdiyev in ‘Borat: Next Film Tape‘, for which he received a nomination for the Oscar in Best Supporting Actress.
For now, her role in the Marvel is being kept under wraps, but it has been said that her character will be pivotal to the plot.
In its publication, Gunn shared the news originally released by deadline and wrote:
“Yes, yes, yes, okay, I guess I should be surprised it took you so long to find out. Maria Bakalova it’s amazing.”
It is worth remembering that the filming of the long has already been completed!

The new film will feature Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Sylvester Stallone, Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Debicki, Daniela Melchior and Will Poulter.
Remembering that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3‘ hits theaters in May 23 from 2023.
