Brad Pitt launches skincare company, but gives reason why he loves getting older

Brad Pitt is an actor and producer, and currently launched a cosmetics company called Le Domaine. When talking about his skin care company, he let slip that in the past he would star in a film about this concept.

Most surprisingly, Pitt would star in this film alongside Sandra Bullockwith whom he recently shared the screen in two films: Lost City and Bullet train.

In the movie that didn’t happen, the two actors would play a couple on the warpath who would work together on QVC (a channel specializing in home shopping on TV).

He said this to British Vogue: “I wouldn’t know how to do this unless it was a comedy.” And then he explained the idea for the movie he would star in alongside Bullock.

“Actually, Sandy [Sandra Bullock] and I once tried to develop a complete idea of a husband and wife team, who were the most successful salespeople at QVC, but were getting divorced, hating each other, and faking it on air while selling stuff.. That was the most we got.”

“I love what Gwyneth has done [com a Goop]. She is still a very dear friend and has built this empire. She’s always had that in her as a curator, and it’s been a lovely creative outlet for her. In fact, come to think of it, she was probably the first one to make me wash my face twice a day.“.

Brad Pitt says anti-aging is ridiculous

Also in the interview, Brad Pitt revealed that he was somewhat fascinated by getting older after he starred in The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttona man who is born old and rejuvenating.

“I don’t want to run away from aging. It’s a concept we can’t escape, and I’d like to see our culture embrace it a little more, talking about it in those terms. something we discussed [na fundação Le Domaine] was this ‘anti-aging’ headline. It’s ridiculous. It’s a fairy tale. But what is real is treating your skin in a healthy way.”

Finally, he talked about how wearing the prosthetics for the movie ruined his skin: “All those prosthetics, six hours of prosthetics? It ripped my skin. They destroyed my skin!”
