Tom Cruise says he loves going to England and causes: “people are polite”


Tom CruiseAmerican star of top gun and Mission Impossible, revealed that he loves going to England, mainly because he feels more comfortable walking on the streets and because people are more polite.

The 60-year-old star is in the UK filming scenes from Mission: Impossible 7which is slated for a mid-2023 release. He also starred in a few months ago Top Gun: Maverick.

According to the publication of the British newspaper Daily Mail, the actor told Derbyshire Live that it is very pleasant to be in Britain where people do not crowd to see him walking down the street.

“Here everyone is nice and will give you a nod or say hello without crowding. I was trained to be polite and you really get that in the UK. I also like the fact that I’m walking the same streets as Shakespeare, (Charles) Dickens and even the Beatles. That’s really cool,” Cruise added.

Cruise also spent months in the country over the summer and was seen attending the Queen’s Jubilee, a women’s final at Wimbledon and Rolling Stones and Adele concerts in Hyde Park.

“I think I’m an Anglophile. I spend a lot of time in Britain and this is not just for work reasons. I love being here,” he added.

And when it comes to indulging in action scenes, the protagonist stands out. He recently recorded a message mid-air while flying over a canyon in South Africa.

“Hey guys! I wish I could be there with you! I’m sorry for the excessive noise. As you can see, we are filming the last part of Mission Impossible. And now we’re flying over the beautiful Blyde River Canon in stunning South Africa,” said Cruise.
