On the same day, images of Samsung’s entire Galaxy S lineup were leaked, with renders of the Galaxy S23, S23+ (or Plus) and S23 Ultra that reveal details about future devices.
Samsung’s new flagships will be launched in early 2023, and should feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which will be released in November this year.
The Galaxy S23 family will once again be divided into three models, with the basic S23, the S23+ (which this time can be rebranded as the S23 Pro) and the top of the line, the Galaxy S23 Ultra, for which Samsung always reserves excellent cameras, as we saw in our review of the S22 Ultra.
In this post, we will show the leaked images and talk a little about each of the devices in the Galaxy S23 line.
Leaked Galaxy S23, check out the images
Successor of the Galaxy S22, the Galaxy S23 had its images revealed by Steve Hemmerstoffer, the OnLeaks of Twitter, in collaboration with the technology site Digit.in.
In the simplest model of the S23 line, what draws the most attention is its rear. Samsung must change the design of cameras, leaving smartphones with a new face. We still don’t know how this camera will perform, as its specifications have not yet been released.
From the images, we see that Samsung removed the traditional island from the camera set, and so the look was much more similar to the S22 Ultra.
According to information from OnLeaks, the smartphone will be slightly larger than the S22. Thus, the expectation is that the Galaxy S23 will have a larger battery than its predecessor.
Galaxy S23+ also had its design revealed
The Galaxy S23+ (or S23 Pro) was also leaked by OnLeaks, but this time in partnership with the Smartprix website. As with the base model, the S23+ has the same camera look inspired by the Ultra models, with the sensors loose in the rear, without the traditional camera island.
Also, according to leaks, this model may be a little bigger and thinner than the S22+.
Galaxy S23 Ultra will not have curved edges
And finally, the tireless OnLeaks partnered with Smartprix to release images of the S23 Ultra, the flagship model of the Galaxy S line.
From the images, we see that the edges of the S23 Ultra will no longer be curved like those of the S22, a major design change.
In addition to the screen, always one of the highlights of the Ultra line, the great differential of the Galaxy S23 Ultra must be the 200 MP camera with ISOCELL sensor, which Samsung will finally use in one of its devices. Now we just have to wait for the next leaks, and hope that they bring more specifications about the new models of the Galaxy S line.
