Globo released the films that will be in this week’s Afternoon Session from 10/3 to 10/7. The station will show in the Afternoon Session this Monday (3/10) the film The Devil Wears Prada, a great critical and box office success. Starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt and featuring Gisele Bündchen.
On Tuesday (4/10), the attraction is a heart-warming movie, the touching Four Lives of a Dog. A dog dies and reincarnates several times on Earth. Although he meets new people and lives many adventures, he always keeps the dream of meeting his first owner, Ethan, his greatest friend and the great love of his life.
On Wednesday (5/10), Globo airs the romantic comedy Sim Senhor. Carl decides to go to a self-help cult, which is based on saying yes to whatever happens to him or is offered. From there, his life begins to change.
On Thursday (6/10) the attraction of the Afternoon Session is the drama A Chance to Fight. Nick, a one-armed MMA fighter, gets the rare chance to fight for the featherweight championship.
And closing the first week of October, the film that Globo is showing this Friday (7/10) is Rush Hour 2. After a bombing at the US embassy in Hong Kong kills two agents who were investigating smuggling money, Inspectors Lee and James Carter hunt down the mastermind behind the attack.

What is Afternoon Session?
A Sessão da Tarde is a Brazilian television program; a screening of films shown by Globo from Monday to Friday. It has been shown in the afternoons of the station since March 4, 1974, being one of the longest-lasting film sessions on Brazilian television, succeeding the extinct Sessão das Duas.
