Hours after Enderson Moreira was fired, Bahia called Bruno Lopes to meet the tricolor delegation in Campinas, where the team is preparing for Tuesday’s match against Novorizontino. The assistant coach will command this Sunday’s training, and may take command of the Squadron on an interim basis in the next round of Serie B.
The board’s plan, however, is to have a new coach by then.

According to the report, Bruno travels at dawn from Saturday to Sunday and commands Bahia’s training during the afternoon. The tricolor program has yet another activity on Monday morning.
Tricolor returns to the field on Tuesday, against Novorizontino. The match is scheduled for 21:30, at the Jorge de Biasi stadium.
This is the second time that Bruno experiences the same situation. After Guto Ferreira was fired, he also boarded at the last minute to accompany the delegation. On that occasion, the agreement with Enderson went before the next match, and the assistant did not need to command Bahia on the edge of the lawn.
Enderson Moreira’s second spell at Bahia has come to an end. The coach was fired by the club this Saturday, the day after the 3-1 defeat by Chapecoense, in a comeback. It was the fourth consecutive match for Tricolor without victories in the national competition.

Tricolor only won one of the last six games.
There were 19 matches played under Enderson’s command. In this period, Bahia won seven games, drew six and lost six. Use of 47.3% of disputed points.
