Expected for 2024, Madame Teia is part of the Marvel comic book adaptation universe made by Sony. Being a spin-off of the Spider-Man franchise, the film stars Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeny, with a plot expected to adapt the “clairvoyant origin story [Madame Teia]whose psychic abilities allow her to see inside the spider world.”
Being Sony Pictures’ new bet on its secondary character films, the filming of the feature film is taking place in the United States, and the film’s logo, previously unknown, is now leaked.
Madame Web’s logo is revealed
Shared through a fan on Reddit, two hats with the Madame Web logo can be seen on two members of the film’s production. As you can see below, the writing is very simple, very similar to Venom, and has the same color palette as Spider-Man.
So far, little information about the feature film has been revealed, with this one then becoming one of the most recent revelations. Regarding the behind-the-scenes, we know that the film’s screenplay is done by Matt Sazama and Burk Shapless, the same creators of Morbius.
Madame Web re-recordings are going on
With its latest postponement, it appears that Madame Web reshoots have made a comeback in Worcester, Massachusetts (United States), on the Sony Pictures film set. As reported by journalist Craig Semon, new action sequences from the feature film are being shot in New York, however, with no cast members present, just their stunt doubles.
Recently, actress Dakota Johnson was spotted on set, as you can check out here. In addition to her and Sweeney, the cast includes Adam Scott, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim and Celeste O’Connor.
