Carol Duarte and Julia Stockler star in this tropical melodrama by Karim Aïnouz, which adapts The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão, by Martha Batalha. Flávia Gusmão, António Fonseca and Gregório Duvivier also join the cast. Among other awards, the film won Un Certain Regard at Cannes.

Premiere of the seventh season of the French crime series centered on Alex Hugo (Samuel Le Bihan), an agent who trades the daily life of violent Marseille for the supposed calm of a rural brigade in the Alps. This series of episodes, debited to the second, opens with Hugo saving a young woman who was trying to take her own life after being a victim of rape.
Chernobyl: The New Evidence
The nuclear accident of April 26, 1986 is analyzed from recent information extracted from hundreds of KGB documents made public. One of them is the concern with the safety of the plant, which has been expressed since the time of construction. Another is the Soviet effort to maintain secrecy. But there are also notes and testimonies of courageous gestures that may have prevented an even greater disaster. The documentary is developed in two parts: today, it goes on the air Critical condition; for the week, repercussions.
It is at Incrível Almadense that the 12th season of Paula Moura Pinheiro’s award-winning show continues. The tour is through the “exciting history of solidarity, effort and discipline” of the association that was founded in 1848 and that contributed to the formation of the population in areas such as sport, culture or education, without forgetting the role in adult literacy.
As always, the word is given to those who have lived it or know it from the inside: Eugénia Viana, member of the advisory board; the historian Ângela Luzia, from the Almada Museum – Casa da Cidade; and Francisco Gonçalves, who has “92 years of life and more than 80 years of ‘Incrível’”, notes RTP.
