Pedro scored three goals in five minutes in Flamengo’s 4-1 victory over Red Bull Bragantino. His hat-trick was very fast, but not the fastest in the history of the Brasileirão.
The striker scored in the 20th, 24th and 25th minute in this Saturday’s duel (1st). However, the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Brasileirão was scored in 2019, by another Flamengo player. In this sense, Bruno Henrique scored three goals in just four minutes in a 4-1 rout over Corinthians.
At the time, shirt 27 scored goals in the 45th and 49th minutes of the initial stage of the confrontation. The third, however, happened only in the second half, but Bruno Henrique needed just 20 seconds to score. Therefore, the fastest hat-trick in the history of the Brasileirão belongs to the ace of “Outro Patamar”.

In addition to Pedro and Bruno Henrique, complete the list of hat-tricks scored faster: Edmundo (for Figueirense, in 2005), Charles (for Bahia, in 1990). In addition to them, Neymar (Santos), Weldon (Sport) and Robgol (Paysandu) scored three goals in the span of seven minutes.
Pedro commented on the quick hat-trick
At the end of the match, the press asked Pedro about Flamengo’s feat in the game. The striker said he was happy but said he intends to continue evolving with the red-black shirt. In addition, he talked about the importance of winning again in the Brasileirão.
“It was very fast, very happy for three more goals to help the team, the whole team is to be congratulated. I hope I can continue to evolve, there were three quick goals, but I have to be ready. That’s what we wanted, to win again and we got three points against a great team. Keep growing to climb the Brazilian table and reach the finals (Copa do Brasil and Libertadores)”, said the striker.
Furthermore, Pedro commented on his anxiety for the call-up of the Brazilian National Team for the World Cup. He, however, followed the speech that he has to keep evolving his football at Flamengo.
“I always say that I have to be well at the club, play my role and evolve with each training session and game. The expectations are high, but I have to focus on my work here to get to the end of the year”, said Pedro.
