Corinthians will subsidize a large part of the ticket price for its fans in the return game of the Copa do Brasil final, against Flamengo, at Maracanã, on October 19. Annoyed with the R$ 400 charged by the rival to the visiting fans, the club will use the income obtained on the trip to “pay” the white-and-white fans.
In practice, for fans, the 3,800 tickets available will cost R$ 90 and not R$ 400. The relief of R$ 310 of difference will be paid by Timão, which will use the value obtained with the tickets purchased by the 2,800 flamenguistas of the ida, October 12th, to help his fan.
At Neo Química Arena, the value for Flamengo visitors will also be R$ 400. Timão claims to have tried to negotiate a lower value for its fans for weeks, but saw a Flamengo board withdrawn.
Corinthians’ account is as follows: on October 12, Flamengo’s 2,800 tickets will generate an income of around R$1.1 million. In the return game, the club will take this full amount and distribute it among the 3,800 tickets. That is, it will cost R$ 310 at home, a total of R$ 1.1 million, too.

In addition, Corinthians fans who stay in the south sector of the Arena in the first leg will not pay the R$ 400 for Flamenguistas. With the discount of the Fiel Torcedor program, this amount will be R$ 38.50.
Tickets for the return game have not yet been made available by Corinthians, but when they are, they will be on sale for R$90.
