After requests from players and fans, Mayor Eduardo Paes confirmed: there will be a Flamengo party on Avenida Presidente Vargas, to celebrate the Libertadores title. However, despite the green light, the date and time of the celebrations are not yet defined by the City Hall.
Initially, Rubro-Negro would have the party on Sunday, the day after the conquest. However, Flamengo did not want to harm the celebration of Brazilian democracy and accepted the requests of the Regional Electoral Court of Rio (TRE-RJ)
