Chris Hemsworth has confirmed that he is close to “saying goodbye” to Thor, the role that launched his career in Hollywood. The next appearance, whether in a solo movie or something related to the Avengers, should be the last.
“Yes, for sure (it’s close). I feel like we’d probably have to close this book the next time I do it again, you know what I mean? I feel like this could be the end.”
I told vanity fair🇧🇷
“At the same time, it’s not based on anything anyone told me or any kind of plan. You have this hero’s birth, a hero’s journey, then a hero’s death, and I don’t know… have I reached that last stage yet? Who knows?”
The actor is one of the original members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it is worth saying that we have already had important farewells, including Robert Downey Jr.🇧🇷 Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson🇧🇷

The new movie finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for self-discovery. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic assassin known as Gorr, the Butcher of the Gods (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods.
To combat the threat, Thor has the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – is wielding his old hammer, Mjölnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of Gorr’s revenge, and stop him before it’s too late.
