The last official national competition of 2022 ended this Saturday (19), with the Copa Verde title won by Paysandu over Vila Nova. Thus, it is already possible to design the pots for the Brazil’s Cup-2023, based on the National Club Ranking gives CBF calculated by Alexandro Andrade.
The CBF has not yet officially released the updated RNC, but the projection already indicates possible opponents of the Botafogo in the Copa do Brasil next year. Glorioso, who should move up to 16th in the rankings, will be in Pot A and will face one of the teams from Pot E, listed below:

It is worth remembering that the first phase is played in single game, at home to the lowest-ranked team, and the highest-ranked team has tie advantage. That is, it is already known that Botafogo will play away from home, and may even repeat the duel against Ceilândia, opponent in the 2022 edition in the third phase. The first phase will be played on 21, 22, 23 and 28/2 and 1 and 2/3.
The following clubs enter the third stage directly: Athletico-PR, Atlético-MG, Corinthians, Flamengo, Fluminense, Fortaleza, Internacional and Palmeiras (participants in the Libertadores), São Paulo (9th in the Brasileirão), Cruzeiro (Series B champion), Sport (runner-up in the Copa do Nordeste ) and Paysandu (Green Cup champion).
