GRU Airport, the concessionaire that manages São Paulo International Airport, in Guarulhos, informs this Wednesday, November 23, the data for the month of October.
The largest airport in South America recorded the movement of 3.07 million passengers throughout the month of October. The Cargo Terminal (Teca) had a total of 25.7 thousand tons transported in October 2022.
National and international flights
During the month of October, the airport handled 2.05 million passengers from domestic flights. International traffic was responsible for 33.2% of the total volume of passengers transported in October, registering 99.2 thousand travelers per day. In all, there were 21,527 landings and takeoffs in the period.
Currently, the airport has 34 national and international companies operating regularly to 45 destinations outside the country.
In October, the Cargo Terminal (Teca) at São Paulo International Airport registered the transport of around 25.7 thousand tons of products related to international cargo, between import and export. Packages moved by the post office are not included, nor domestic cargo.
Among the most transported products in the period are items from the automotive, pharmaceutical and machinery segments. Also noteworthy is the express shipments segment, which benefits from GRU’s extensive air network and dedicated operations to increase delivery speed.
