Striker Richarlison was the name of the Brazilian team in the victory against Serbia, yesterday, in the debut of the World Cup. After the match, ‘Pombo’ made waves on his social networks when he recalled a volley goal very similar to the one scored in the World Cup, which he scored in one of Brazil’s training sessions a few days ago.
“As the poet would say: training is training; game is game!”, wrote the player in the publication.
The fact happened in training on November 16, when the team was still carrying out activities in Turin, Italy.
Shirt number 9 of the team led by Tite, the player received a cross at the entrance to the area and, at first, caught the ball in full – which ended up in the nets defended by Ederson.
In yesterday’s play, the ball came from the left in a pass from Vinicius Júnior and, despite having dominated the ball, Richarlison performed a stunt very similar to what happened last week.
After the gala performance, Richarlison gained over 3 million followers on Instagram. Before the start of the Cup, the Tottenham player had 7.5 million. Now more than 10.8 million opted to receive the attacker’s publications on the social network.
