In an interview this Saturday (26), before the match against Moroccofor the world Cupthe attacker Eden Hazardthe selection of Belgiumwas asked about his weight and did not like the questioning.
During the press conference, a Qatari journalist was very direct in his question about the athlete’s physical form. Real Madrid🇧🇷
“Did you gain weight?” he asked.
Scowling, Hazard sighed and measured his words before replying, as he was clearly displeased.
“No… That’s not true,” he said.
“I’m managing to keep myself in a stable situation. I always work very hard on the physical part and I’m managing to keep myself well”, he added.
At another point in the interview, he even said that he is “very well” prepared for the Worlds.
“At the moment, I’m doing very well. I played 65 minutes (in my debut against Canada) and I thought I played well. Of course we can improve as a team, but our medical staff is great and is preparing everyone well for the next match”, he pointed out.
“Recovery is going really well. Our medical staff are doing a great job. I felt really good during the hour and little I played. There’s not a lot of recovery time between games, but my recovery is going well. Being on the field this moment is the most important thing for me.”
Belgium faces Morocco this Sunday (27), at 10 am (Brasília time), for the 2nd round of group F.
