THE BALL – France beats Denmark and is already in the ‘eighth’ (see the goals) (World Cup 2022)

France is qualified for the round of 16 of the World Cup, after beating Denmark this Saturday, 2-1, at the 974 stadium, with Mbappé winning two of the several occasions he had.

The French were almost always stronger in offensive terms, but on the other side there were also some dangerous attacks, one of which even tied the game, thanks to a Christensen header, in the second period, following a corner.

The triumph of the team commanded by Deschamps would be sealed by its greatest artist, near the end, in the use of a ball crossed by another of the team’s big names, Griezman.

The Nordics still tried to respond but no longer had time to change the marker. Denmark now have to win their last game, against Australia, to dream of qualifying.
