The series depicts a post-apocalyptic world where every mammal with a Y chromosome dies, with the exception of Yorick Brown (Ben Schnetzer) and his pet monkey. As the rest of the survivors struggle to return to normal life and society, Yorick’s mother, Jennifer Brown (Diane Lane), becomes the new president of the United States.


With ultrasensitive hearing, unknown beings walk the planet Earth and attack anyone who transmits the slightest noise. In this new reality, the Abbott family must survive by following the new rules of never making noise. The film stars John Krasinski and Emily Bluntand was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Score.
