Transformers: Dawn of the Beastss got its first trailer this Thursday (1st) during a surprise panel at Paramount Pictures at CCXP22🇧🇷 The preview showed the long-awaited meeting between the Autobots and the Maximals in the cinema.
The video shows the first meeting between Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen), leader of the Autobots, and Optimus Primal (Ron Perlman), leader of the Maximals. The sequence indicates that both groups will unite to face the Terrorcons, a group of unprecedented villains in cinema.
Protagonist of the new film, Noah (Anthony Ramos) also appears interacting for the first time with a Transformer. He’ll have a giant robot sidekick, much like Bumblebee was for former stars of the franchise and the spin-off film.
In addition to the trailer, the studio announced new additions to the voice cast of the franchise’s seventh live-action film and its characters. They are Peter Dinklage (Scourge), Liza Koshy (Arcee), John DiMaggio (Stratosphere), David Sobolov (Rhinox/Battletrap), Michaela Jaé Rodriguez (Nightbird), Cristo Fernández (Wheeljack), and Tobe Nwigwe (Reek).
Directed by Steven Caple Jr., Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will debut a new spin on the franchise. The seventh feature will be inspired by the Beast Wars series and will show the giant robots taking on the forms of wild and prehistoric beasts.
The plot will be set in the 1990s (between the events of Bumblebee and the first Transformers) and will tell the story of the wars between the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons. Dominique Fishback (Judas, Black Messiah), Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live).
Transformers: The Awakening of the Beasts premieres in Brazil on June 8, 2023.
