The late Paul Walker rose to fame with the first Fast and Furious, in which he worked alongside Vin Diesel. Now, nine years after his friend’s passing, Diesel has shown he hasn’t forgotten him.
On Instagram, Diesel published a photo of one of the films in the Fast and Furious franchise, in which he appears next to Paul Walker. In the caption, the actor wrote:
“Nine years… I love you and miss you”.
Paul Walker was in a car accident in 2013. He died while filming for Fast and Furious 7 was taking place, causing the film to undergo major changes.
He recently received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, being honored by the Chair of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Selection Panel.
“The panel carefully selected these talented individuals, and we can’t wait to celebrate them as they become a part of Hollywood history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous catwalk,” she said.

Fast and Furious gets new movie
The franchise will have one more film. Fast and Furious 10 is being directed by Louis Leterrier, who arrived to replace Justin Lin, who abandoned the project due to possible conflicts with star Vin Diesel.
The cast of Fast and Furious 10 will feature several newcomers, such as Jason Momoa, from Aquaman, and Brie Larson, from Captain Marvel.
Fast & Furious 10 hits theaters on May 19, 2023.
