Vivo off the air: customers complain of instability in the network signal | Telephony

The company acknowledged the problem via an internet posting. “Right now our systems are undergoing maintenance”, says Vivo, which also adds that it is “working to solve it as soon as possible”.

In a quick check via Twitter, readers of TechAll confirmed access difficulties in the following cities: Belém, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Brusque (SC), Campo Grande, Curitiba, Divinópolis (MG), Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Goiânia, João Pessoa, Lages (SC), Natal, Olinda (PE) , Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Rosário do Sul (RS), Salvador, São Bernardo do Campo (SP), São Paulo and Vitória da Conquista (BA).

User reports indicate that the signal problem occurs both in the mobile service and in residential broadband, in which the company operates mainly under the Vivo Fibra brand. Some people complain that the Meu Vivo app, used for customer service, also has problems.

Vivo is among the largest telecommunications companies in the country. There are 97.3 million mobile lines, 6.4 million fixed broadband accesses and 1 million pay-TV customers. Data for September 2022 are available on Anatel’s website.
