Zoe Saldaña bursts into tears after watching scenes from Avatar: The Path of Water

Zoe Saldana shared his reaction to watching Avatar: The Way of Water for the first time in cinema. The actress confessed to Jimmy Fallon that she cried while watching the movie, and that she was still processing everything.

“If I look a little off, I’m usually very talkative, it’s because I just got back from the screening. I went to see avatar [O Caminho da Água] today. I’m still processing it, it’s very exciting. I’m surprised my lashes stayed. I was like, crying. It’s very special and I can give you a little tip. It’s about water.”

Saldaña has spoken of the emotion of the film before

According to ComicBook, Zoe Saldaña told in a previous interview with Kevin McCarthy, who was moved to see the first minutes of Avatar: The Way of Water🇧🇷

The actress who plays Neytiri in the film recalled how challenging it was for the director James Cameron make water scenes with the use of special effects.

“He finally managed to overcome this challenge. That whole thing where you can’t mimic water virtually through performance capture. That was just a challenge he took on, and it took years, and he did it. It’s powerful, it’s attractive. I can get emotional just talking about it. I was able to see just 20 minutes of the second installment just before the year ended last year and I was speechless… I was moved to tears.”

The actress confessed that James Cameron also cries easily, in addition to saying other compliments about the director.

“One thing nobody really knows about Jim is that Jim is also a big crybaby. He really has a heart of gold, and he’s a very focused and firm man, but he has a very delicate heart and that’s why he protects him so much. I think he manages to get his way out through the stories he creates and this story is going to be compelling.”
