Tite defines Brazil with Fred and Gabriel Jesus to face Cameroon

Tite closed the preparation of the Brazilian team for the last game of the group stage of the World Cup in Qatar with Fred and Gabriel Jesus among the starters. These were the last doubts that remained for the lineup of the 11 players who will start the match against Cameroon, starting at 4 pm (Brasília time).

The trained lineup was as follows: Ederson; Daniel Alves (captain), Militão, bremer and Alex Telles; Fabinho, Fred and Rodrygo; Gabriel Martinelli, Antony and Gabriel Jesus.

The commander had already released a good part of the lineup on Wednesday with only three doubts. Today before training, the commission had already confirmed that Rodrygo had won the competition with Everton Ribeiro. The doubt remained between Fred and Bruno Guimarães and also between Gabriel Jesus and Pedro.

The curious fact is that Tite opts for Fred, as shown by the GE and confirmed UOL Esporte, to start the match despite being hung with a yellow card. If he is cautioned again on Friday, he is out of the round of 16.

Gabriel Jesus already had an advantage over Pedro and confirmed his favoritism to occupy Richarlison’s place. Everton Ribeiro and Pedro are likely to have chances in the second half if the game is controlled.

Tite will not have Alex Sandro, Danilo and Neymar even on the bench. They are recovering from injury and will be tested on Saturday to see if they are able to compete in the knockout stage.
