WhatsApp has released a new feature that, however, is only available for iOS at this first moment: the display of contact images next to messages in group conversations.
According to the portal GZH“the user needs to click on a group. Then, he will notice that next to the messages sent, the image of the contacts will appear, in the form of a circle, which are the same ones displayed in their application profiles. In the case of contacts that do not have profile picture, a default image of the application of a white doll on a colored background will be displayed”.
The novelty was already being tested since August and there is still no forecast to be released for Android.
This Monday (29), WhatsApp launched a new feature that allows you to send messages to yourself, according to what Meta confirmed to the website. TechCrunch 🇧🇷 Called “Message Yourself,” the feature was first spotted several weeks ago as part of a beta test, but it’s now rolling out globally to iOS and Android users in the coming weeks.
Until now, you could only send messages to yourself by creating a group with just yourself as a member or using the app’s “click to chat” feature, both inelegant solutions at best. Rival platform Signal already offers a feature called “Note to Self” that does pretty much the same thing, although it’s buried in your contact list instead of being available at the top.

Just over a week ago, WhatsApp introduced two new features during the Business Summit. One of them is the search for deals directly within the application.
Navigation can be carried out through a search bar organized by categories or by company name. Businesses can be found in the so-called Business Guide.
