Olivia Wilde Appears Stunning Alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Cate Blanchett at the 13th Governors Awards | celebrities

Olivia WildeJennifer Lawrence and Kate Blanchett showed all their glamor at the 13th Governors Awards, held at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles, United States, on Saturday.

Newly single Wilde, 38, walked the red carpet for the first time since her split from Harry Styles28, made headlines the day before.

For the occasion, she wore a sheer black lace dress with white tulle underneath.

Lawrence, 32, donned a low-cut black and white gown with floral motifs and stars throughout, while Blanchett, 53, stunned in a dramatic pale pink tulle gown with an asymmetrical black blazer.

The event celebrates awards bestowed by the Academy’s Board of Governors – the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award.

This year’s honorary Academy Awards will go to directors Peter Weir and Euzhan Palcy, and composer Diane Warren, and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award to Michael J. Fox. Weir is a six-time Academy Award nominee, best known for Witness, Dead Poets Society and Master and Commander.

Meanwhile, Palcy made history at the 1983 Venice Film Festival when her first film, Sugar Cane Alley, took the Silver Lion, as the first for a black female director, as well as for any black female director. Warren has received 13 nominations for Best Original Song and is now the music business’s first honorary Oscar recipient.
