Jennifer Lawrence looks stunning and tanned in a flowery dress on the red carpet nine months after giving birth | celebrities

Stunning, smiling and tanned: these adjectives sum up the journey of actress Jennifer Lawrence on the red carpet at the event that handed out honorary Oscar statuettes to the winners in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old muse attracted all the spotlight on Saturday night (19) upon her arrival at the venue. After becoming a mother in February, the star of ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ (2012) – a film that earned her an Oscar for best actress – showed that time, in fact, is relative, at least for her.

With a long dress, predominantly black and with light flowers, Jennifer left a good part of the bust region to show off the bronze. The simple and charming look is complemented by the American artist’s smile.

In February, Jennifer Lawrence gave birth to her first child, Cy, from her marriage to Cooke Maroney, with whom she exchanged rings in 2019.

The actress has been focusing her energies promoting her new film, ‘Passagem’, released earlier this month, which was directed by Lila Neugebauer. The protagonist, who also produced the feature, plays a US military woman who tries to fit in on her way home from a traumatic injury in Afghanistan. The cast also includes Brian Tyree Henry, Linda Emond and Danny Wolohan.

She also has another project in the works, the comedy ‘No Hard Feelings’, due out next year.

In addition to the top award for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’, Jennifer Lawrence had three other Oscar nominations for ‘Winter in the Soul’ (2010), ‘American Hustle’ (2013) and ‘Joy: The Name of Success’ (2015).

It was even in that period between 2012 and 2015, when the actress made eight films in three years, that she reported a mental breakdown. “I think I lost control,” she admitted in an interview with Variety last month.

“I became such a big product that I felt every decision was big and needed to be made as a group. When I stop to think about it now, I hardly remember anything from that time, [porque estava tudo] completely out of control.”
