Scientist creates controversy about living on the moon: ‘Still in this decade’

With several problems related to the care of planet Earth, the desire of many, whether ordinary citizens or those working in the field of science, is to one day live on another planet.

Making possible human existence and coexistence on the Moon before the situation on our planet gets worse is something highly studied. Example of this are the rockets launched and their lunar targets behind. In recent cases, it is believed that the process will not be as time consuming as it seemed.

Interview shows enthusiasm for the subject

Howard Hu, a high-ranking official at the agency and the leader behind the Orion space program – a spacecraft project built to transport astronauts to the Moon and Mars – said that the possibility of inhabiting the Moon is a close reality. The speech occurred in an interview with BBC News, of United States🇧🇷

Artemis Mission is a Step Before Housing the Moon

The Artemis I rocket was launched last November 16th and carries the Orion spacecraft. The rocket is related to the Artemis mission that aims to take astronauts back to the Moon.

Ships destined for the satellite are being sent without a human crew, as is the case with the Orion spacecraft. To simulate possible damage involving human beings, a dummy was taken.

The expectation is that, if the Artemis I flight is successful, the next launch will already have human beings included.

When will it be possible?

Given the advances in science, there is still no idea when it will be time for us, people with no connection to special agencies, to step on the Moon. However, scientist Hu believes it is possible in this decade.
