Initially slated to debut in 2014, ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ it took much longer to get ready and was delayed by seven years. In 2018, the director James Cameron revealed that he was working on a NEW technology where the 3D projection will not need glasses🇧🇷
In an EXCLUSIVE interview with CinePOP, the producer Jon Landau was asked by journalist Renato Marafon if they are still working on this technology and if 3D is the future.
“We are not working on it. People think of sunglasses as a negative, but when you go to the beach, sunglasses are part of the experience. When I put these glasses on in theaters, it transforms my experience. And I will have a better experience because of it.”
