Recovered, Neymar changes his look for Brazil’s game against South Korea

Recovered from an injury to his left ankle, Neymar even gave his look a drastic makeover to enter the field against South Korea this Monday (5). The game will be valid for the round of 16 of the World Cup and can qualify Brazil for the next phase in case of victory.

After doing a good workout on Sunday (4) and being confirmed in the lineup by coach Tite, the number 10 left the discreet lights aside and emerged with completely platinum hair. The change was exhibited by Dailson dos Reis, known as Nariko, a famous hair stylist among players.

“The ‘brabo’ with a new look for the return, goes with everything, brother! May God bless you and our selection”, wrote the hairdresser, in a photo published alongside Neymar on Instagram.

The athlete’s visual changes tend to draw a lot of attention on social media and end up diverting from serious matters, such as the injury he suffered during the debut of the Brazilian national team against Serbia.

The number 10 was injured during a match and left the field crying. After imaging tests, ligament damage and bone swelling in the left ankle were found, which meant that he was left out of the other two group stage games against Switzerland and Cameroon to recover.

After just over a week of intensive treatment, the striker returned to training last Saturday afternoon (3) and expressed his willingness to enter the field in the next phase of the competition.

The game between Brazil and South Korea will take place this Monday, starting at 4 pm (Brasília time), with live broadcast by Globo, SporTV and Globoplay. The winner of the match will advance to the quarterfinals against Croatia or Japan.
